Refund Policy

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds.

Instead, we give you a genuinely useful free trial with no time limit, so you can decide before you spend anything. We would rather you try it properly than buy on impulse and ask for your money back.

Try it before you buy it

Constructure is free to download and free to use. The trial has no time limit and no countdown. You can:

Write a new script up to 30 pages — roughly Act One of a feature.
Use every feature. Nothing is hidden behind the paywall except length, importing an existing script, and export beyond 30 pages.
Keep everything you write. It saves normally to your own files, never watermarked, never locked away.

That is deliberately enough to find out whether Constructure suits how you work. Please use it before buying — that trial is the reason we can say no refunds without feeling bad about it.

Why no refunds

Constructure is made by one person. Software cannot be returned the way a physical object can — once it is downloaded and the licence is issued, it cannot be un-downloaded. A free trial with no expiry is a fairer arrangement for both of us than a refund window, and it means the price stays low.

What we will always put right

"No refunds" applies to changing your mind. It does not mean we keep money that was never really ours. Email us and we will correct any of the following:

You were charged twice for the same thing.
You paid and no licence arrived — we will re-send it, and if we genuinely cannot deliver a working licence, we will refund you.
A charge you did not authorise, for instance if your card was used without permission.
A subscription that kept billing after you cancelled.
Anything else the law where you live requires us to refund.

Write to Ryan@ConstructureScreenwriter.com with the email address you used. These get sorted quickly and without argument.

Cancelling a subscription

Cancel any time — through the link in your receipt, or by emailing us.
Cancelling stops all future charges immediately.
You keep access for the rest of the period you have already paid for.
We do not refund part-months or previous months.
We will not bill you again after you cancel. If that ever happens, see above — we will fix it.

One-time purchases

A one-time purchase gives you Constructure 1.x permanently. It does not expire and does not renew, so there is nothing to cancel. Please read the Terms — particularly the part explaining that you are buying the version that exists today and that future major versions may be a separate purchase — before you buy.

If you are in the EU or UK

Consumer law where you live may give you a right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content within 14 days. That right can be waived when you ask for the content immediately and acknowledge that you lose it by doing so.

By buying Constructure you are asking for immediate delivery of your licence, and you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once it has been sent. Your licence is emailed within seconds of purchase. Any statutory right you have that cannot be waived is unaffected by this policy.

Before you buy — a checklist

Because there are no refunds, please confirm all of these first:

You have actually used the free trial, not just read about it.
You are on an Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or newer), macOS 12 or later. Intel Macs are not supported.
You understand you are buying the version that exists today, and that updates are not promised.
You have read the Terms of Service.
